British Gymnastics     

British Gymnastics (BG) are the national governing body for the sport of gymnastics within the United Kingdom.

KBGymnastics is affiliated to 'BG' and all staff are 'BG' qualified coaches.

We access through our affiliation to 'BG', civil liability insurance which encompasses both public & property liability. The terms of this policy require that following two trial sessions our gymnasts take out membership with 'BG'. It is therefore a mandatory requirement that all gymnasts become members of 'BG'

BG membership rates for 2007/2008 - annual membership runs from 1st october to 30th September.

Pre-School (Rolling Rascals)                  £8.50

Club Associate (Gym Rascals)                £17.00

Club Associate Temporary (13 wks)       £8.50 (upgrade to full + £8.50)

Club Associate Temporary (4 wks)         £5.00 (upgrade to full + £12.00)

Gymnasts 'BG' memberships are taken out through KBGymnastics.

All KBGymnastics coaches hold 'BG' coaching qualifications, are full members of 'BG' and hold enhanced C.R.B. disclosures.

KBGymnastics has adopted 'BG's policies on - Code of Ethics - Code of Conduct - Protecting the Participant in Gymnastics -

KBGymnastics classes are registered with South Somerset District Council and Somerset County Council through the Somerset Activity & Sports Partnership.
